In November, 2006, Heather and her husband stacked their furniture, books, tools, dishes, TV, and quilting fabric into a storage locker and moved onto a sailboat for a year of exploration. Built in Hong Kong in 1980, their 48-foot Cheoy Lee center cockpit sloop has traveled from San Carlos, in Sonora, Mexico, south across the Gulf of California to the tip of the Baja peninsula at Cabo San Lucas, and up the Pacific side, continuing as far north as Ventura, California. |
